Shoe Phone Friday: Oxford playhouse

Well it’s Friday and that can only mean one thing, SHOE PHONE! Today’s picture is of Ellen from the Oxford Playhouse who I met at last week’s OxTweetUp. I absolutely love the enthusiasm that Ellen gave to shoe phoning. It is not surprising that as a theatre director, Ellen was natural. Ellen told us that she is working on the Playhouse’s up and coming production of Lord of the Flies.

Our Shoe Phone Friday song this week is ‘I was a fool’ by Tegan and Sara. I am very excited that after banging on about Tegan and Sara they are finally getting the recognition they deserve in the UK and I have heard this song all week on Radio 2.

Shoe phone Friday: The Daily Info edition

Last night I attended the Oxtweetup at the Big Bang restaurant in Oxford. It was a great event for all the avid tweeters of Oxford to meet in the real life! The event was organised by Oxford listings site, Daily Info, and the owner of the Big Bang, Max Mason. I have found the most willing participants for shoe phoning tend to be bloggers or tweeters. They are never ever shy about a little bit of silliness on the internet. So last night was the perfect opportunity for me to go out and about with the shoe phone. Orla and Anaïs from Daily Info did not fail to impress me with their willingness to partake in this impromptu shoe phone photo shoot.
